Auto Injuries/PIP Claims

Auto accidents are scary enough. The injuries and trauma we experience can change our lives and the lives of the ones we love in an instant. The care you receive should be specific to your needs and documented in a way that helps support and show each step of your journey. Teall Massage values your time as well as your legal needs. We are able to communicate with your representatives for you, so you can focus on healing.

Medical Massage, Treatment-Based Care

Massage isn’t always about sneaking away to relax. We need to correct and support our body as we pick up all the bumps and bruises we run into throughout life. Whether you are dealing with a long term chronic pain issue, or you rolled an ankle, medical and treatment based work allows us to start with measurable goal, and consistently work with your tissue and regularly check in with other members of your care team while we see results and find ways to treat symptoms and root causes of pain, anxiety, and discomfort.

Traditional Deep Tissue

There is a deep pressure massage where people often will brag about being able to take massive pressure that is often not necessary physically, but certainly can be mentally. Then there is also traditional Deep Tissue work. Deep tissue traditionally is extremely slow, patient work. We warm the tissue and activate your nervous system to release the chemicals which allow your body to feel relaxed and calm, and then we begin the real work. We will sink into multiple layers of tissue while communicating with one another. Each layer that we reach, you will be in control of the next steps and levels of tissue. While guiding you into being present and controlling your breathe, we will release areas of fascia and tissue that may have never been release. Trauma work and PTSD can be triggered by deep tissue work and you are safe and respected in this process. It can also cause more soreness, followed by noticeable relief.

Cupping/Myofascial Release

Why don’t we charge extra for cupping? Well, I’m glad you asked! Cupping is so effective and fast acting, it makes our jobs as massage therapists easier. It can break up fascia, ease lymphatic drainage work, allow access to deeper levels of tissue, and you can purchase your own to follow up at home and develop your own home routine. Cupping can leave marks and there are counter indications and isn’t for everyone. Methods of cupping used are dry cupping, active stretching sports cupping, medical cupping, blanket cupping, neck and facial/jaw cupping, lymphatic drainage, and running cups. Cupping can be scheduled as it’s own visit, or can be a part of your session, just ask!

Other services include Prenatal Massage, Cranial Sacral Assisted Release for adhd/anxiety in children and adults, Aromatherapy, Scraping, Thai inspired stretching, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, abdominal massage.

I do believe that massage is the oldest form of medicine. The first motion any living thing makes towards something broken or wounded, is to reach out and offer touch or physical contact in some form. It is instinctive and natural to each of us. It is a way we can open our body and senses to healing in ways we did not realize we were capable. There are so many ways to do this, and each and every body has it’s own. Massage can be the first step on a journey of learning to heal your body and maximize your health. You can take control of your pain, and your body’s built in systems to heal and regenerate.
